Hello! I’m Letricia David, a proud resident of Essequibo, specifically from Hyde Park in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant rivers, I cherish the natural beauty and cultural richness that Guyana has to offer. Whether it’s the serene banks of the Pomeroon River or the bustling markets filled with local produce, my experiences here have shaped my love for our beautiful country.
Food is a central part of my life, and I have a deep appreciation for the incredible home-cooked meals that our older generations have passed down. A big thank you to all the magical hands that create the delicious dishes we enjoy, from pepperpot to cassava pone! I also love sharing these flavors with my friends and family, especially those in the diaspora who often reminisce about the meals that remind them of home.
