Greetings! My name is Levans Williams, and I proudly call the lush banks of the Creek Essequibo River in Lower Bonasika my home. As a farmer, I am deeply connected to the land, where the rich soil yields everything from rice to cassava. Growing up in Guyana, I've developed a profound appreciation for our vibrant culture, which is as diverse as our crops. Whether it’s sharing a hearty plate of pepperpot or enjoying the sweet taste of black cake during our festive holidays, food is a cornerstone of our community, bringing us together like nothing else can.
Having witnessed both the beauty and challenges of our land, I resonate with my fellow Guyanese who passionately discuss the realities of our nation.
