Hello! I'm Lillowtie Persaud, a proud Guyanese originally from the vibrant community of Coast West Public Road Sparta in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and the mighty rivers like the Pomeroon and Akawini, I developed a deep appreciation for our natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. Whether it's savoring a plate of pepperpot during the festive season or enjoying a leisurely day at the river, these experiences have shaped my identity and connection to my homeland.
As a maid, I take pride in bringing a touch of warmth and hospitality to every home I enter. My work allows me to connect with diverse people and share a bit of our Guyanese spirit, which is as vibrant as the national flag that proudly waves with green, yellow, and black. I often reminisce about my visits back to Guyana and the joy of reuniting with family, immersing myself in the flavors of our local cuisine like curry and roti, and exploring the beauty of landmarks such as the breathtaking Kaieteur Falls.
Though I now reside in the USA, my heart forever beats for Guyana. I cherish the connections I have with fellow Guyanese, whether by sharing stories of our land or discussing the rich history of our ancestors.
