Hello! I’m Lindsay John, a proud resident of Portion Manawarin Mud Creek in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities, I have been deeply influenced by the rich cultural heritage of this beautiful country. From the lively rum shops serving the best pepperpot to the sweet aroma of fresh cook-up rice wafting through the air, food has always been a central part of my life, just like it is for many of my neighbors.
Living in Guyana, I've come to appreciate the warmth and resilience of our people. I often reminisce about childhood memories, such as visiting the Essequibo River with family, where we would fish and share laughter under the sun.
