Greetings! I’m Lisa Gay, a proud resident of Demerara 7 Public Road DE in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of the Pomeroon River, I have always cherished the rich cultural heritage that binds us together. From family gatherings filled with delicious cook-up rice and fried fish to the sounds of our local folk music, my upbringing has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our traditions and the connections we share, both at home and within the diaspora.
Living in this beautiful part of Guyana, I am constantly inspired by the stunning natural beauty of our rivers and the warm spirit of our communities, such as the Lower Pom River Yacouri Settlement and the Friendship Back Lands.
