Hello! My name is Lisa Williams, and I proudly call the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region home. Living on the Coast Public Road in Vilvoorden, I have a deep appreciation for the rich culture and history that Guyana offers. From the vibrant festivals celebrating our diverse heritage to the mouthwatering dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice that bring us together, I cherish every aspect of our Guyanese identity. I often find myself reminiscing about the sounds of the markets and the aroma of freshly prepared roti wafting through the air, which truly embodies the spirit of our community.
As a resident of Guyana, I’ve had my share of ups and downs. While I love my country deeply, I also see the challenges we face, including the need for better infrastructure and hospitality standards.
