Though I may not have met my distant relative, Eddie Grant, I feel a connection to the rich tapestry of Guyanese culture that resonates through our diaspora. It’s heartwarming to hear the love for our local delicacies, like the famed pepperpot and fresh fish from the Essequibo River. I often reminisce about our beautiful landmarks, like River Mora Island Akawini, and I dream of a future where more people can discover and appreciate the beauty of our home.
