Hello! I’m Lorette Clarke, a proud resident of the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam community, right here on the Coast 92 Public Road. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing our lush landscapes, from the winding Pomeroon River to the serene Myrie Island in Wakapau. My roots run deep in this beautiful country, where the aroma of pepperpot and the sound of chutney music fill the air, creating a unique blend of cultures that is quintessentially Guyanese.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the deep connection we share with our homeland. Whether it's reminiscing about the flavors of a hearty cook-up rice or the warmth of family gatherings where we call each other “uncle” and “aunty,” I cherish these ties.
