Hello! I’m Loveine Rufino, a proud resident of the beautiful Coast Onderneeming Sand Pit in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My heart beats to the rhythm of our vibrant culture, from the sweet sounds of the tassa drums during our festivals to the rich aromas of our beloved pepperpot and cook-up rice. With the Pomeroon River flowing nearby, the lush landscapes and the warmth of our communities are woven into my everyday life, reminding me of the beauty that surrounds us.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the experiences of those who have ventured far from our shores, like my friend Emmanuel from River Myrie Island Wakapau.
