Hello! I’m Lovindra Seurattan, a proud resident of the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically from Old Road Cullen in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. My heart beats for the vibrant culture and rich history of Guyana, where the lush landscapes of the Kaieteur Falls and the serene beauty of our rivers are just the beginning of what makes our country unique. Growing up here has deepened my appreciation for our local cuisine, from the flavorful pepperpot to the sweet treat of cassava pone, each bite transporting me back to cherished family gatherings.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the challenges we face and the incredible potential we hold. Guyana is evolving, especially with our burgeoning oil industry, and while we may not see paradise overnight, I believe in our resilience and the determination of our people.
