Greetings! I am Lynette Chichester, a proud resident of Pit Essequibo Coast, located in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana has shaped my identity and instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage. From the mouthwatering aroma of pepperpot simmering during Christmas to the lively sounds of a local chutney party, my life is a celebration of our diverse cultures, including our Amerindian, African, Chinese, Portuguese, East Indian, and European roots. Living here, I often reflect on the beauty of our natural resources, like the stunning Kaieteur Falls and the serene Essequibo River, which not only attract tourists but also remind us of our responsibility to protect our environment.
