Hello! I’m Mahendra Hamanchal, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, specifically from the vibrant area of Cullen in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush beauty of the Pomeroon River and its rich biodiversity has profoundly shaped my love for nature and community. My roots run deep in the heart of Guyana, where the aroma of freshly cooked pepperpot and the sweet taste of cassava pone bring back cherished childhood memories. I cherish the warmth of my neighbors and the sense of unity that defines our culture.
As a participant in our local community, I enjoy sharing stories and experiences that highlight the unique blend of our Guyanese heritage.
