Welcome! I’m Mahindra Persaud, a proud huckster hailing from the vibrant community of Coast 20 Adventure Sand in Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. Growing up in this rich cultural landscape, I’ve been deeply influenced by our local flavors, traditions, and the beautiful rivers that crisscross our land. Whether I'm sourcing fresh produce or sharing stories about the best spots along the Lower Pomeroon River, my heart is firmly rooted in my Guyanese heritage.
As someone who’s spent years interacting with both locals and the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the bond we share across borders. I often reminisce about the days spent cooking up a storm with my family, enjoying dishes like pepperpot and metemgee, which remind me of home. I also love connecting with those who left Guyana, like many of my friends who moved abroad but still carry a piece of our culture with them—whether it’s through the food they prepare or the stories they tell.
