Greetings! My name is Mahomed Yusuff, a proud farmer hailing from the beautiful Essequibo Coast in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. As a dedicated steward of the land, I cultivate a variety of crops that are not only delicious but also integral to our local cuisine. There’s nothing quite like the taste of fresh, ripe cassava or the aroma of a well-cooked pepperpot shared with family and friends during the holidays. Having grown up in a vibrant area where the Pom River flows, I've always felt a strong connection to my roots. The lush landscapes and breathtaking sunsets of my home inspire my work and daily life. Whether I’m planting in the fields or engaging with neighbors, I cherish the spirit of togetherness that defines our Guyanese families. It’s not uncommon to hear laughter echoing down the road, or to enjoy a plate of cook-up rice with friends after a long day’s work.
As I navigate my journey in agriculture, I am equally passionate about connecting with fellow Guyanese in the diaspora.
