Hello! I'm Makieda Wakefield, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast in Onderneeming, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of this area has deeply shaped my identity. From the sweet aroma of a well-cooked pepperpot to the rich history embodied in the towering heights of Mount Roraima, my life here is a celebration of Guyanese culture and heritage.
