Hello! I’m Malcolm Fraser, a proud resident of the Caricom Compound in Anna, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant traditions of the Essequibo Coast has deeply influenced my appreciation for our rich culture. Whether it’s enjoying a hearty plate of pepperpot during the holidays or catching up with family over a pot of cook-up rice, these moments remind me of the warmth and resilience of our people.
One of my fondest memories is visiting the Pom River, where the tranquility of the waters is matched only by the stories shared among friends and family. As many in our diaspora know, it's not just a river; it’s a lifeline connecting us to our roots. My experiences here have shaped my perspective, and I carry the spirit of Guyana with me wherever I go, believing in the potential for a brighter future for our next generation.
