Hello! I’m Mananram Mohamed, a dedicated labourer from the heart of Leguan, located in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. I take pride in my work and the rich culture of our diverse community. Growing up surrounded by the beautiful rivers, such as the Kamarang and Crow Island, I have always been inspired by the natural beauty that our land offers, from the serene waters to the vibrant mangroves that dot our landscape.
In my daily life, I cherish the warmth of our local cuisine, especially dishes like pepperpot and metemgee, which carry the flavors of our Guyanese heritage. I often find joy in sharing these meals with family and friends, celebrating our traditions and stories that have been passed down through generations. As a member of the diaspora, I understand the challenges we face, and I am committed to advocating for our community, ensuring that our voices are heard both at home and abroad.
Living in Leguan, I am deeply connected to the struggles and triumphs of my fellow Guyanese.
