Hello! I’m Mangal Moosai, a proud resident of Essequibo Coast, specifically in the serene community of Taymouth Manor, located in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Nestled between lush landscapes and the gentle flow of the Pomeroon River, my home is a testament to the rich cultural heritage that Guyana represents. From the vibrant markets of Georgetown to the serene beaches of the Essequibo Coast, there’s a unique charm in every corner of our homeland.
As a true Guyanese, I carry my love for our local cuisine in my heart—nothing beats enjoying a plate of delicious crab and rice while gazing at the stunning views over the Demerara River. Celebrating our festivals, particularly Mashramani, reminds me of the vibrant spirit that our community shares. I believe in the importance of preserving our natural beauty and advocating for responsible practices, especially to combat illegal mining that threatens our pristine environments, as echoed by many in our community.
