Greetings! My name is Mangree Whaydt-Rampe, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast home. Nestled along the 65 Public Road in Walton, my life is deeply intertwined with the vibrant culture and rich heritage of Guyana. From the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region to the warm-hearted communities that gather along the banks of our rivers, each day is a celebration of our natural beauty and cultural diversity.
I have a deep appreciation for the culinary delights of our land, particularly the mouthwatering duck curry that is often a centerpiece at family gatherings. I cherish the communal spirit found at our local events, such as the lively festivities at the River St. Chads Mission, where friends and families come together to share stories, laughter, and, of course, delicious meals. These moments reflect the heartfelt connections we maintain with each other and with our diaspora, as we carry the essence of Guyana wherever we go.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
