Hello! My name is Maralyn Khairool, and I am a proud housewife residing in the vibrant community of Pom. River Play Fair Backland, located in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in Guyana has deeply influenced my culinary passions, and I love preparing traditional dishes like pepperpot and metemgee, often sharing them with my family and neighbors. Although I sometimes chuckle at how outsiders mispronounce our unique place names, it's all part of the charm that makes Guyana so special. It’s heartwarming to see our culture, from the rich traditions of Diwali and Mashramani to the vibrant sounds of chutney music, being recognized and celebrated worldwide.
