Hello! I’m Marcia Cottam, an Assistant Cook based in the vibrant community of La Bagatelle on Leguan Island, nestled in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich culture of this incredible country, I’ve developed a deep passion for cooking and sharing the traditional flavors of Guyanese cuisine. From the savory delights of pepperpot to the sweet indulgence of black cake, I take pride in bringing the tastes of home to life.
