Hello! I’m Marcus Chowtie, a proud Guyanese hailing from the vibrant community of Bank Essequibo, specifically from 363 Block 8 New Housing in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and the winding Pomeroon River, I've been deeply influenced by the rich cultural heritage of our land. From the bustling markets filled with fresh fruits like golden apples and soursop to the aroma of spicy cook-up rice wafting through my neighborhood, my roots are a constant source of inspiration in my life and work.
