Hello! I’m Maria Thom, a proud clerk hailing from the vibrant community of Essequibo 02 Grove on the East Bank of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and diverse culture of Guyana has shaped who I am today. With a love for our local cuisine, nothing beats a hearty plate of pepperpot or a sweet treat of guava cheese shared among family and friends. As an active member of the Guyanese diaspora, I carry the spirit of my homeland wherever I go.
