Born and raised in the heart of Guyana, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our vibrant culture, from the mouthwatering taste of curry chicken to the lively sounds of our local music. As a bartender, I love sharing our rich traditions through my craft, mixing a variety of cocktails that often feature our locally sourced fruits like guava and passion fruit. When I’m not behind the bar, you can find me exploring the lush landscapes of Pomeroon-Supenaam, visiting the stunning waterfalls, or sharing stories with friends about the latest happenings in our community. I often reminisce about the days spent at the river, where we would gather for picnics, enjoying the company of family and friends. And of course, no gathering is complete without a hearty plate of food; whether it’s pepperpot for Christmas or a simple fish and rice meal, every dish tells a story of love and heritage.
