Hello! I'm Mark Thorne, a proud Guyanese labourer hailing from the vibrant community of Essequibo 38, located in the heart of West Parika, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush beauty of our rivers and forests, I've developed a deep appreciation for the rich culture and traditions that make Guyana so unique. From the sweet aroma of cook-up rice on a Sunday to the lively sounds of folk music echoing through our villages, these experiences have shaped my identity and community spirit.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring the beautiful landscapes of Guyana, from the serene Calabash Island to the lively banks of the Pomeroon River, where manatees playfully glide through the waters.
