Hello! I’m Miranda Marks, a proud resident of Mission in the Barima-Waini region of Guyana. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant communities, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage. Like many Guyanese, I continue to cherish the connections we have, whether through family ties, like my distant relation to Rihanna, or through meals shared with friends that spark nostalgic conversations about home.
Living in Mission allows me to be surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of our rivers and forests, which often serve as a backdrop for community gatherings and celebrations. I believe in the importance of fostering these connections, both locally and abroad.
