Hello! I’m Marlon France, a proud labourer from the beautiful region of Coast 33 in Vilvoorden, Essequibo. Growing up alongside the Pomeroon River, I have always had a deep appreciation for our lush landscapes and vibrant communities. Whether it’s spending the day fishing with friends or enjoying a hearty plate of cook-up rice and fried fish, life here is rich in flavor and camaraderie. Having spent much of my life in this stunning locale, I can’t help but feel a connection to the broader Guyanese diaspora. It reminds me of the warmth and humor that we carry wherever we go, even when faced with challenges. I find solace in the simple things, from the familiar sights along the Pomeroon to the laughter shared over a plate of metemgee.
