One of my greatest joys is sharing the culinary delights of Guyanese cuisine; there's nothing quite like a plate of pepper pot or a sweet slice of black cake, made with love during special occasions. As a member of the diaspora, I cherish the connections we maintain with each other, whether it’s reminiscing about the old days in Hackney or debating the rightful ownership of Esequibo.
