Hi there! I'm Megan Benjamin, a proud resident of Coast 10 Lima Sands Anna in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My life here is deeply intertwined with the vibrant culture and rich heritage of our nation, where the aroma of pepperpot and fresh fish curry fills the air, especially during family gatherings. There's nothing quite like enjoying a plate of cook-up rice with friends while sharing stories about our ancestors and the diverse communities that call Guyana home.
As someone who values the connection to our land, I am passionate about addressing the environmental challenges we face. Like many Guyanese, I believe we can do better when it comes to solid waste management and public transport.
