Living along the Public Road in Zorg En, within the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I am deeply rooted in the vibrant culture of our land. Here in Guyana, we celebrate our rich heritage through our delicious cuisine, including pepperpot and metemgee, which I love to prepare for family gatherings. The lush landscapes and serene rivers tell stories of our ancestors, and I often reminisce about my granddad’s journey from the rivers of Upper Pom to distant lands like Barbados and England, where our family’s legacy continues to flourish.
