Although I may be far from home at times, this connection keeps me grounded, allowing me to celebrate our culture wherever I go.
Living in the diaspora, I've encountered many who share my passion for our homeland. I take joy in connecting with fellow Guyanese, whether it’s through shared memories of St. Monica or discussions about our unique pronunciations—yes, we all know the struggle of those tricky names!
