Hello! I’m Meshell Williams, a proud housewife living in the beautiful Lake Essequibo Mainstay Lake area of Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana has deeply influenced who I am. From enjoying the rich flavors of our national dish, pepperpot, to savoring freshly caught fish by the riverside, my life is intertwined with the natural beauty and culinary delights of my homeland.

Whether it's gathering with family to reminisce about my father’s stories of Albouystown or sharing laughs with neighbors over a plate of cook-up rice, I love the warmth and camaraderie that defines our culture. Guyana may not be considered a traditional Caribbean nation, but our connections to the Caribbean and our unique heritage shape our identity.
