Hello! My name is Michael Evrad, and I proudly call Guyana my home. Living at 6 Independence Street, I embrace the rhythms of life as a fisherman. The waters of the Essequibo and the Atlantic Ocean are not just my workplace; they are a source of nourishment and tradition. Like many Guyanese, I cherish the moments spent with my family, sharing hearty meals of pepperpot and oxtail that are staples in our culture. Each dish tells a story and connects us to our roots, reminding us of the warmth of home.
