Greetings! My name is Michael Culpeper, and I am proud to call Pom River Grant, Carmelville, in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery of the Pomeroon River and the rich sounds of our vibrant culture has shaped who I am today. From the lively celebrations of Mashramani to the warmth of our community gatherings, I cherish the traditions that celebrate our Guyanese heritage.
As a resident of this idyllic locale, I enjoy sharing the flavors of our local cuisine with friends and family. Whether it’s a hearty plate of metemgee or the delightful curries that grace our tables, there's something special about dipping bread into a savory sauce, just like the many meals enjoyed at family gatherings. Each dish tells a story and strengthens the bond we have with our roots and each other.
