Greetings! I’m Michael Singh, a proud farmer hailing from the lush region of Pomeroon-Supenaam, specifically along the Coast 14 East Public Road Zorg. Growing up surrounded by the rich biodiversity of our land, I’ve cultivated not only crops but a deep appreciation for the natural beauty that Guyana offers. From the vibrant colors of the rice fields to the serene waters of the Pomeroon River, my everyday life is intertwined with the rhythms of nature and a commitment to sustainable farming practices.
In addition to my work on the farm, I cherish the connections I’ve formed with fellow Guyanese, both at home and in the diaspora. I often reminisce about the lively gatherings filled with sumptuous local dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice, where stories are shared and laughter echoes, just like the tales of the mighty Kaieteur Falls that many of us affectionately refer to as “Ky-Chore Falls.” These moments remind me of our shared heritage and the strength of our community, no matter where we find ourselves in the world.
