Hello! My name is Michelle Persaud, and I proudly call Upper Pomeroon River Grant in Capetown my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Pomeroon-Supenaam has instilled in me a deep appreciation for our rich culture, from the aroma of fresh cassava bread to the warmth of our local gatherings. As a resident of Guyana, I often reflect on how our country, despite facing challenges, continues to shine with beauty and resilience. I now live in the United States but remain deeply connected to my homeland.
