Hello! I’m Michelle Smith, a proud resident of Lower Pomeroon River on the beautiful Quitaro Island, located in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. I often reminisce about the bustling markets where we gather to shop and share laughter, reminiscent of the lively atmosphere around Lefferts Boulevard and Liberty Avenue that many in the diaspora fondly recall.
As I connect with the vibrant Guyanese diaspora, I’m constantly reminded of our resilience and the strength in our community.
