Hello! I’m Michelle Lowe, a dedicated teacher based in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. My roots run deep in this beautiful part of the country, where the Pomeroon River flows and the rich culture and traditions shape our daily lives. Whether it’s enjoying a plate of aromatic roti and curry or taking a stroll along the River Grant, I find joy in the simple pleasures that our unique landscape offers.
As an educator, I strive to inspire my students by sharing not just academic knowledge, but also the values and stories that connect us as Guyanese. I believe in fostering a love for learning while embracing our diverse heritage, from the warmth of our community gatherings to the excitement of traditional festivals. Each lesson I share is infused with the spirit of our culture, encouraging the younger generation to appreciate their roots.

Like many, I reminisce about our homeland—whether it’s the bustling markets or the serene beauty of Macaseema Kabakaburi. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
