Greetings! My name is Milicent Gouveia, and I am proud to call the Essequibo 793 North New Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam my home. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich culture of Guyana, I cherish the vibrant traditions that shape our community. From the delectable taste of pepperpot at Christmas time to the lively celebrations of Mashramani, my heart is deeply rooted in the customs that bring us together as a people.
As a resident of Essequibo, I often find solace along the serene banks of the Pomeroon River, a place where the rhythm of life slows down and nature’s beauty shines.
