Hello! I’m Mithlawdavi Ishwarlall, a proud resident of Perseverance Estate on the Essequibo Coast in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the rich biodiversity of our rivers and lush landscapes has deeply influenced my connection to the vibrant culture of Guyana. As someone who has traveled around our beautiful country, I find joy in the little things—like savoring a fresh slice of pineapple without salt, or sharing stories of my visits to iconic spots such as River Quarry Landing and Queenaballi Akawini. These experiences not only remind me of the warmth of our communities but also highlight the resilience we share as Guyanese, both at home and in the diaspora.
