Greetings! I'm Mohamed Kadir, a proud handyman hailing from the vibrant Essequibo Coast, right along the West Public Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in Guyana, a country rich with cultural heritage and natural beauty, from the lush rainforests to the majestic waterfalls of Kaieteur. While my hands are often busy fixing things around the house, my heart remains tied to the flavors and traditions of my homeland—whether it's enjoying a plate of pepperpot with family or indulging in some sweet black cake during festive occasions.
As a Guyanese, I cherish our unique identity, often feeling a strong connection to the Caribbean spirit—even if we aren't surrounded by the Caribbean Sea. I take pride in our role as part of CARICOM, and I love sharing the stories of our diverse communities, from the vibrant sounds of chutney music to the intricate dances during Mashramani. The challenges we face are real, and as we work through them, I hold onto the hope that our nation will continue progressing and shining on the global stage.
