I find it fascinating how we have elements of our colonial past, such as American names sprinkled across our towns—yes, we even have a “Texas”! This blend of influences shapes our identity, creating a unique sense of belonging that resonates with many in the diaspora. We often reminisce about our hometowns, sharing stories that keep our connection alive, whether it's remembering our favorite food spots or landmarks like the famous St. George's Cathedral.
