Hello! I’m Mohamed Dilice, a proud Guyanese labourer hailing from the vibrant community of Pomona on the Essequibo Coast. My roots run deep in this beautiful land known to the Amerindians as "the land of many waters." From the lush greenery of the Pomeroon River to the rich flavors of our beloved Guyanese dishes, such as pepperpot and the infamous Guyanese poutine, I cherish the unique experiences that shape our culture.
Throughout my life, I’ve always held a strong connection to my heritage and the diaspora. Whether it's sharing stories of our cricket legends who have represented us on the world stage or recounting tales of academics like Sir Linel Lachoo and Dr. Mohammed Shahabedeen, I find joy in celebrating our contributions to the global community. Guyana may often be overlooked, but as I like to say, “He who laughs, laughs best” – there is always a reason to smile when you embrace the spirit of our nation.
