Hello! I’m Mohan Lall, originally from the lush landscapes of Pomeroon-Supenaam in Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the rich biodiversity of our rainforests and the tranquil waters of the Pomeroon River, I carry with me the essence of home wherever I go. Whether it’s the vibrant local markets filled with fresh fruits like guava and coconut or the enticing aroma of rice and peas paired with curry, my culinary roots are deeply embedded in the traditional flavors of our culture.
In addition to my love for Guyanese cuisine, I am passionate about connecting with the diaspora community. I believe that despite living abroad, we can keep our culture alive through shared experiences and cherished memories.
