Hello! My name is Mondel Edwards, and I proudly call Lower Pom River Grant Providence in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana my home. Growing up in this vibrant area, I have been immersed in the rich cultural mosaic that defines our nation. From the bustling markets of Georgetown, where you can savor the delicious flavors of pepperpot and metemgee, to the serene beauty of Kaieteur Falls, every aspect of my life reflects the warmth and diversity of our people.
As a resident of Guyana, I cherish the unique blend of cultures that coexist harmoniously in our communities. It's not uncommon to find a church, a mosque, and a Hindu temple on the same street, each celebrating their traditions side by side. This spirit of tolerance and unity is something I hold dear, and it fuels my desire to engage with both locals and the Guyanese diaspora around the world. In my spare time, you can find me exploring the lush landscapes of our countryside or enjoying a lively kulerage gathering in Brixton with fellow Guyanese.
