Greetings! My name is Mukesh Seurattan, and I’m a proud Guyanese labourer living on the Coast 04 Public Road in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich heritage. Despite the challenges that our beloved country faces, including economic disparities and environmental issues, my love for Guyana remains unwavering. I often reflect on the comments of others in the diaspora who share their mixed feelings about returning. It’s true we have our struggles, yet the resilience of our people and the beauty of our culture make it all worthwhile.
