Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and rich biodiversity of Guyana has shaped my identity and fostered a deep appreciation for our beautiful land. One of my favorite memories includes gathering with family and friends to enjoy traditional Guyanese dishes, where we often sprinkle a little salt on watermelon, a delightful twist that brings out the fruit's sweetness.
