Hello! I’m Nafeeza Ally, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, specifically from Jib in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana has profoundly shaped who I am today. The Essequibo River is not just a landmark; it’s a part of my daily life, where I often reminisce about those beautiful moments spent by the water, sharing stories and laughter with family and friends.
As a Guyanese, I have a deep appreciation for our rich culture, from the mouthwatering delights of pepperpot and cook-up rice to the rhythms of our folk music that tell tales of our history and heritage.
