Hello! I’m Naipaul Charan, a proud spray painter hailing from the vibrant West Coast Demerara, specifically 102 Third Street Railway in the Essequibo Islands-West Demerara region. My work reflects the colorful essence of Guyana, where each stroke is inspired by the lush landscapes, the rich heritage, and the everyday life of our people. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve enjoyed the delicious flavors of our diverse cuisine, from savory pepperpot to sweet black cake, each dish telling its own story. My passion for painting extends to capturing these cultural experiences, as they are integral to who we are as Guyanese.
