Hello! I’m Nalesia Stephens, a proud resident of Hall Essequibo Coast, living right on the vibrant Public Road in Bounty, Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in this beautiful land, where the lush green scenery meets the mighty Essequibo River. Growing up, the aroma of fried chicken patties wafting from local markets filled my childhood, and gatherings around a firefest created memories I cherish. Just like many of my fellow Guyanese, I carry a piece of home with me, no matter where I go.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I understand the importance of staying connected to our culture, even from afar. Whether reminiscing about the lively atmosphere of the River GT Land of Promise or enjoying a plate of doubles at Trinciti, I find joy in sharing these experiences with others.
